My only regret....

....is that I wasn't feeling well enough to eat porchetta in Italy.  Next time.

While in the Bastille I kept my eyes peeled for Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, but instead I just got lost and ended up in front of Planete Mars.

Every morning that I was in France I made it a point to eat some type of bread product with Nutella spread obscenely thick.  Like, half an inch.....I'm not kidding.  This breakfast was no exception, though not only did the previous evening's baguette have half an inch of Nutella on it, but also raw milk butter and smashed strawberries.  And I ate it in bed.  I am now jealous of myself.

....after dinner at the restaurant where they shot the final episode of Sex & the City.  Nouvelle cuisine makes me appreciate the cooking that I do.  And this was a fun night.....hanging with the French, blisters from my new Italian shoes, the moon over the Seine.

Seriously the most lovely place for tea, or dessert, or lunch (from what I've heard).  All silver and china and gold leaf and marble.  We stopped here for a late afternoon treat after getting greased up at the hammam.  Ah, luxury.....
